of the Group Late SHRI M.M. KOTHARI - aged about 90 years, was the Patriach of the Pan Masala Industry in India. He was the founder of “Kothari Group” and is the Pioneer of the product “Pan Masala” by introducing the new concept of Mouth Freshener having ingredients such as Betel Nuts, Cardamom, Flavour etc. and is the pioneer in launching the concept commercially with the Brand name “Pan Parag”. SHRI DEEPAK KOTHARI - is the Chairman & Managing Director of Kothari Products Ltd. and also the Chairman and Managing Director of M/s. Pan Parag India Ltd. which is one of the largest Pvt. Sector FMCG Co. in the Pan Masala (Mouth Freshner) segment. Today “Pan Parag” is one of India’s Most visible consumer product having highest number of retail outlets. Born on 26-06-1951 he is son of Late Sri. M.M. Kothari and a Post Graduate in Marketing Management. He joined the family business in the year 1973 assisting his father in building up the image and creating the brand equity of “Pan Parag” globally. He is a pioneer in innovative packaging of the product in sachets and pouches. This was revolution in FMCG Product Marketing in India. Shri Deepak Kothari is promoter Director in more than 50 group and associate companies. He is also former director of “Air India” & “Indian Airlines”. Shri Kothari is actively involved in various charitable organisations and running education institutions. He has been bestowed with numerous awards in the past for his contribution and excellence in the corporate world. He is the recipient of “VikasRatnaPuraskar”, “Pride of India (Gold Medal)” from NRI Institute of Bangkok, Thailand, under his leadership Kothari Group has been recipient of “FMCG Awards, 2003” and “FMCG Award 2004” by AMFG , New Delhi. SHRI MITESH KOTHARI - is the Executive Director of Kothari Products Ltd. and is involved in day to day affairs of the group companies since 1999 and is promoter director of M/s Pan Parag India Ltd., controlling the entire production setup of the Group all over India. Shri Mitesh Kothari (s/o. Shri Deepak Kothari), was born on 26.08.1976 and is a post-graduate from Buckingham University, U.K. and played a vital role in the expansion of the activities of the company by launching new products / segments and franchisee units throughout the country. He also cultivated the corporate culture within the organization. |
